My favorite recipes

I hope you enjoy these recipes as much as I do! First we have my moms special Apple Oatmeal. YUM!!! Okay folks, next we have some peanut butter balls. Oh, I love these ones. They're healthy foods, but really good. And we have homemade potato chips. And we've got Amara's recipe. And very last of them them all, we've got steamed artichokes. I hope you enjoy these recipes as much as I do! Good bye!

Mashed Potatoes and Gravy

INGREDIENTS

15 potatoes
2 cups of milk
1/2 Tb salt (add more if it needs it)
pepper
1/2 stick of butter
5 dashes garlic powder

INSTRUCTIONS

Peel and cut potatoes into big chunks. Cover with water and boil 20-30 minutes or until potatoes fall apart when stabbed with a fork. Drain water and return potatoes to the hot pot. Add butter, milk, salt, garlic powder, and pepper. Using a hand mixer, mash potatoes manually until potatoes are broken up. Then turn on the mixer and beat them until smooth (Warning: Be careful not to fling hot potatoes out of the pot). Turn off mixer and taste potatoes. Adjust seasoning if needed. Serve and enjoy!

For gravy just use brown gravy packets from store. Use instructions on gravy packet.

Yummy pops

                                                   SMOOTHIE POPS
Make a smoothie. If you don't know how or if you need some ideas just click here or here. Get some popsicle molds. Pour your smoothie evenly into each one. Then get some foil and put it over each one and stick a posicle stick into each mold that's covered. Let pops freeze overnight in freezer. But not the fridge, the freezer.

                                                        PLAIN ICE POPS
Pour cold water into each pop mold. Then follow the instructions from up there. Stick in the freezer for a while and then when you're ready to try one, pull out and enjoy.

                                                    HOT COCOA POPS
Make some hot chocolate and pour into mold. Follow same instructions from above. Enjoy when ready.
TIP: You don't have to warm up the cocoa if you're going to freeze it :)

So, any liquid can be turned into a pop (usually). Have a good day and enjoy your pop!

My famous tuna sandwich

Ingredients

Fresh caught tuna (but if you don't have any used the canned type)
A bottle of mayonnaise
Celontro or parsley
Diced tomatos
lettuce

What to do

Put some tuna into a bowl until the bowl is half filled. Take a spoon and put a spoon of mayonnaise into the bowl with the tuna. Then stir for a while. Then take 4 or 5 leafs of cilantro and either chop up or tear. Then sprinkle that in with the tuna. Mix it in. Spread the tuna on one piece of bread. Then take 1 lettuce leaf and cut it into 8 pieces. Then place some leaves so they fit on top of the tuna, mayo, and cilantro. Put the top piece of bread on.

Enjoy! I figured out this recipe when making lunch for My grandma. She has brown skin so we like to call her ghram-cracker. She is so nice. She always says hi, and apparently more people know her than she knows than. I suppose the word of her ever happy kindness spread a long ways.
